To prevent this fight being won by a lucky shot, the battle will be run 1000 times with 5-man squads.

Armor.
The Storm Troopers wear 18 pieces of white plastoid-composite body armor over a sealed black body glove. The ODSTs wear their very own BDU armor. The armor provides numerous advantages in the field, including ballistic protection, temperature control, as well as thermal insulation against extreme temperatures experienced during atmospheric entry and thermal protection from Covenant energy weapons.

Armor edge automatically goes to the Halo guys.

Long range
The Imperial DLT-20A blaster rifle faces off against the UNSC MA5C assault rifle. The Imperial weapon is a consistent, can be used both automatically and semi-automatically and is reliable. The Assault rifle has been in use for 50 years, and its power and range make it a

Mid range
The ODST submachine is compared to the Stormtrooper rifle. The rifle can double as a long range weapon, while the submachine loses its accuracy at long range. The rifle has three times the range of the shotgun and shoots faster, even if the ammunition is far more powerful in the submachine gun. In mid range weaponry, the edge goes to the Stormtrooper's E-11.

Short range
Energy Sword vs. Force Pike
The energy sword is longer and having two prongs, does more damage. The sword also has a function where an enemy cannot wield it. but the downside is  The force pike can withstand the blow of a lightsaber, which means it can withstand the energy sword. Due to the force pike's power to tear through a steel bulkhead, it poses a significant danger to getting through the ODST armor. So which weapon gets the edge?
Both, they're dead even.

Explosive
The plasma grenade has a larger radius in all, and has the advantage that it can stick to its target, but the kill radius of the two bombs favors the thermal detonator, so it gets the edge.

Area: Blood Gulch. (none of these warriors are from Red Vs. Blue, just using the arena and references)

Note: I will be borrowing names from actual sources but that doesn't mean it actually is the characters. I'm just pulling names at random.

Empire team. Everyone on this team will be carrying an E-11 blaster and a thermal detonator.
Trang-Team leader, has orange pauldron. He will be carrying a force pike and DLT
Turk-He's carrying a DLT-20A rifle.
Vollot-He's carrying a DLT-20A rifle.
Hong-He's carrying a force pike.
Haku-He's carrying a force pike

UNSC team. Everyone on this team will be carrying a MA5C and a plasma grenade.
Captain-Red armor. Carrying energy sword and submachine gun.
Frag-Orange armor. Carrying submachine gun.
Bagel-Pink (light-ish red) armor. Carrying energy sword.
Smithers-Maroon armor. Carrying submachine gun.
Carlos-Brown armor. Carrying energy sword.

One other thing, I am still new to team fights, which are harder than one on one fights.

Fight begins.

Two ODSTs, Frag and Smithers, stand on top of their base. The other three are in the base, talking about something. Suddenly, over the horizon, an imperial troop transport appears. Carlos, Bagel and Captain run out of the base to see what is going on, as Frag looks through the scope of his rifle to see the exiting Stormtroopers. The five begin fanning out and approach the base. Captain orders everyone to get into position.

The Stormtroopers gather around a big rock. Turk goes in first, investigating the entrance of the seemingly empty-BAM! Smithers takes him out with his rifle whilst perched on top of a cliff. The other troopers open fire on him, and gun him down, causing his body to fall off the cliff to the ground.

Frag pops out behind them and shoots Hong in the head with his submachine gun. Vollot turns and shoves his force pike into his neck, knocking him out, only to be shot with Vollot's rifle. Bagel, kneeling behind a rock several yards away, begins shooting at them. Vollot fires back, giving Trang and Haku cover fire to get in the base. Vollot catches up with the others to the entrances, only to be met by laser fire from Carlos, forcing them to duck to the sides. Haku pulls out his thermal detonator and tosses it in, and KABOOM! Carlos is dead.

Bagel tosses over a plasma grenade, sticking right to Haku's head, blowing it off 3 seconds later. The remaining Storm Troopers quickly run into the base, followed by Bagel. Once inside, Bagel is tackled by Trang. After a brief struggle, Bagel gains the upperhand and throws Trang to the ground. Pulling out his energy sword, Bagel ignites but before he can make the kill, the sword is shot out of his hand by Vollot's DLT rifle, giving Trang the opportunity to score a headshot with his E-11. Bagel drops down dead.

Trang gets back to his feet, and turns to the private, giving him a nod. Suddenly, two plasma prongs pierce right through Vollot's body. Captain removes his blade and tosses the dead Storm trooper aside. Trang shoots at the approaching Captain, but the bolt strikes armor, doing no damage.

Captain bats the gun out of his hand and grabs his throat. But before killing him, Trang pulls out his force pike and strikes Captain in the head with the base of the hilt, freeing himself.

Cheif and Trang charge each other and swing at the other, metal and plasma striking against each other, sending sparks flying. With a quick maneuver, Trang manages to bypass the long blade, and with pike at maximum, strikes Captain in the chest. Captain flies back and on the ground, back on the wall. The pike had cracked and broken his chest plate and he felt like someone just sucker punched all his organs. Trang stabbed at the fallen ODST. Captain countered and stabbed upward, stabbing Trang in his left chest plate and shoulder. While it didn't penetrate far, it did hurt like hell.

Trang backed away, allowing Captain to get back to his feet. The two started to bat away at each other again, with Captain growing cautious, as he knew his blade might run out of power. Then, Trang misstep. He lunged and missed, allowing Captain to slash his arms right off. Trang cried in pain, right before Captain ran him through. Captain raises his blade and roars in victory.

ODSTs win!

After 1000 battles, the Spartans prevailed with 663 kills, to the Stormtrooper's 337 kills. This is primarily due to the UNSC having the far superior armor and the superior combination of weapons.
